Well-known South Korean esports dynasty T1 is ready to make a splash in the competitive world of Super Smash Bros<\/a> after announcing that Jason “ANTi” Bates and Larry “Larry Lurr” Holland will represent the T1 badge this week.<\/p>\n SK Telecom T1 is one of the most recognisable esports teams in the world, earning their fame and recognition in League of Legends<\/a>. <\/p>\n They are the only team to have won the World Championship three times, which also makes them the only team that holds the so-called “Triple Crown”. <\/p>\n Towards the end of February 2019, SK Telecom T1 made a strategic partnership with Comcast Spectacor, the American entertainment company, with a plan to become the number one esport team in the world. Now renamed “T1”, the South Korean team decided to expand their organization into the competitive world of Super Smash Bros by signing two of the best players in the Super Smash Bros scene<\/a> \u2014 ANTi and Larry Lurr.<\/p>\n Jason “ANTi” Bates is a 25-year-old professional Super Smash Bros player from New York, USA, who established himself as one of the best in the Smash 4 scene. As it stands now, he is ranked as the 14th best Wii U player of all-time on PGR100 rankings. <\/p>\n ANTi is known for his ability to counter pick his opponents, and with a large pool of characters he is able to play, he excels in doing so. This, alongside his impeccable skill, elevated him to the status of being one of the best Super Smash Bros players in the world.<\/p>\n Not long after signing ANTi as a part of the rebranding process of expanding into the Super Smash Bros scene, T1 announced that they signed another exceptional player; Larry Lurr, who will play alongside ANTi under the T1 banner.<\/p>\n
