The International 2018 is right around the corner, with 24 million dollars on the line and plenty of Dota 2 betting opportunities. The tournament will offer almost 100 matches in total, being a bettor’s dream come true.

Unlike its previous editions, The International 2018 takes place in Vancouver, Canada at a venue with more than 18,000 seats, known as Rogers Arena. The Group Stage will take place between August 15th – 18th while the Main Event is scheduled to take place between August 20th – 25th.

The International 2018 brings together 18 teams from 6 different regions: The International 2018 takes place in two stages: the Group Stage and the Main Event or Playoffs.

As usual, for the Group Stage the 18 teams will be divided into 2 groups of 9. Each of these groups will be played in a Round Robin format: every team plays a Bo2 match against every other team from its group. This is an essential part that makes the Dota 2 betting opportunities of this event truly amazing. That’s because there will be plenty of matches that are sure to end with a 2 – 0 result or a 1 – 1 result, and the odds are very high even when the outcome is almost predetermined, simply because there are 3 outcome possibilities instead of 2.

At the end of the Group Stage, the last placed teams from both groups are eliminated, so the Main Event will feature 16 of the original 18 teams and will be played in a double-elimination bracket format. The top 4 teams from each group start in the Upper Bracket. The other 4 start in the Lower Bracket. The first round of Lower Bracket matches consists of Bo1 series. All other matches are Bo3, with the exception of the Grand Final (Bo5).

The massive $24 million prize pool of The International 2018 will be distributed among the 18 participants in the following way:
