The post Intel Extreme Masters 2020 CS:GO betting preview appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>A total of 16 teams will be competing in the IEM Katowice CS:GO tournament. They are Astralis, Cloud9, 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses, FaZe Clan, Fnatic, G2 Esports, MAD Lions EC, Natus Vincere, Ninjas in Pyjamas, mousesports, Team Liquid, Renegades, Team Vitality, Tyloo Lbet, and Virtus.pro.
The IEM Katowice 2020 CS:GO event features a US $500,000 prize pool, with the winners taking home half that sum and the runners-up collecting $100,000.
There are eight teams participating in Group A, which includes Team Vitality from France, Natus Vincere from Ukraine, Astralis from Denmark, Fnatic from Sweden.
While Fnatic are well known within the gaming and betting communities, we predict that their chances of winning this tournament are not that good. Their latest CS: GO event was the ESL Pro League Season 10 which was held back in December 2019 where they managed to advance to the finals. Since they were missing from the CS: GO esports scene for more than two months, we expect them to be going to Poland very rusty and out of shape.
Natus Vincere, on the other hand, has been doing quite well recently and since swapping GuardiaN with Perfecto, they have been on the rise. They did well at BLAST Premier Spring and if they come here with the same determination, anything is possible.
Team Vitality is currently fourth on the list when it comes to favorites, but we can’t help but feel that they are being underestimated at least slightly. While they did have some mishaps along the way at BLAST, they are still an extremely well-coordinated team and are capable of taking the victory home.
Astralis is actually one of the top favorites to win the entire competition. While many doubt their abilities due to the fact that they have recently lost to mousesports, it is likely that they will be trying to prove that they are the best here so they will be coming in all guns blazing.
The rest of the teams from Group A are considered to be underdogs and likely won’t be able to compete with the teams mentioned above.
Group A prediction: Astralis to win Group A
Group B also consists of eight teams, among which are big-time favorites mousesports, Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses.
When it comes to Group B, both Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses who are big names have around the same chance of doing well at this tournament. Both teams didn’t perform very well during BLAST and it would appear that both teams are in a slump which many don’t find appealing when it comes to placing bets.
Mousesports, on the other hand, are the biggest favorite for placing at least in the top four at numerous betting sites which is fair enough considering their latest performance. The team will also be in top form and we can be sure that they will be bringing their A-game.
While mouz are currently the world’s number one CS: GO team, it is important to note that they have snagged that title by playing more smaller tournaments while other teams have been skipping them and only participating in the big ones. Nevertheless, this will be the place for them to prove themselves worthy of the number one spot.
Group B prediction: mousesports to win Group B

]]>The post BLAST Premier Spring Series 2020 preview, predictions & odds appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>Twelve teams have been split into three groups of four sides each and all the games will be played in best-of-three format. On February 16, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the Spring finals, meanwhile, the bottom two sides will have to take the long road as they will have to compete in the Spring Showdown.
Teams will be keen to get the lion’s share of the $300,000 prize pool which will be distributed among all the competing sides depending on their final placements.
The BLAST Premier Series Championship will be held from January 31 to February 16, 2020, in London. It will be held at 3 Mills Studios. 12 teams will play for $ 300 thousand. The two best teams from each group will go to the finals of the tournament, the prize fund of which will be $ 750 thousand.
Let’s have a look at some of the teams that we believe will surely qualify for the BLAST Premier Spring series finals, and we warn you it’s going to be hotly contested CS GO event. Our expert tipster has cast his eye over all the main chances ahead of the January 31 start.
The Danes are the best title contenders coming into this tournament and why wouldn’t they be. Astralis had a phenomenal 2019 which saw them winning, the BLAST Pro Series Global Final, ECS season eight, IEM Beijing, StarLadder Berlin Major, BLAST Pro Series S?o Paulo, and IEM Katowice Major. The team almost won the ESL One New York and BLAST Pro Series Madrid as it finished in the 2nd spot. Astralis was unarguably the best team in 2019 but even after these remarkable achievements they didn’t manage to top their overwhelming 2018 campaign since they had some tough moments in the first few months, as Team Liquid was seeing success and was tipped by many to finish the year as the No.1 team. Nonetheless, the Danes managed to came back strong and showed the world that they cannot be dethroned.
The NA organization has had its fair share of success in 2019. They won the IEM Chicago, BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles, ESL One Cologne, EPL season nine, DreamHack Masters Dallas, and IEM Sydney. They also managed to claim silver at BLAST Pro Series Global Final, ECS season eight, BLAST Pro Series Miami and BLAST Pro Series S?o Paulo. 2019 was the best competitive year in CSGO for Liquid, as the team not only managed to lift its first major trophy since its formation in 2015. But also went on winning six consecutive competitions in just 60 days, which ultimately led to them being crowned the best CSGO team in the world during the mid-year. The world will be anxious to see how Liquid will learn from their mistakes and pose a fight for the top spot. BLAST Spring series is a good opportunity for the team to showcase its talent. Liquid is in Group A alongside FaZe, NiP and Brazilian MIBR.
The most exciting prospect of 2019 was indeed another North American organization, Evil Geniuses. Initially, the entire roster of EG was playing for NRG and made a terrible start to the year by losing all of its games at IEM Katowice Major which saw them replacing Fugly with Tarik and also signing a new in-game leader Stanislaw. We’re predicting the Evil Geniuses to go close, but ultimately fall short.
The fans of the team were horribly disappointed by the side as this roster never even managed to qualify for the grand finale of any tournament. The best achievement of the team under NRG banner was finishing in the top-four five times, which also includes their phenomenal run in the StarLadder Berlin Major. The fortunes of the team changed when EG decided to acquire them just before the ESL One New York. The side performed brilliantly as the won the title by defeating Astralis in the grand finale.
ESL wasn’t the only triumph of the year, as the team also claimed the title of the StarSeries i-League season eight. But unfortunately, the team had some disappointing results which saw them ending the year with two trophies. Some believe that the poor performance of the team at the end could be attributed to all the traveling they did to China. Nonetheless, EG should be refreshed for the BLAST Premier Series, the team is in Group C alongside, G2 Esports, 1000 Thieves and OG. We believe that the side has what it takes to finish in the top two and qualify for the finals.
After looking at the teams that we think will finish in the top spots in the respective groups. Let’s have a look at one of the second spot contenders. Vitality managed to establish a strong line-up in 2019 as they signed ALEX. He and NBK had a phenomenal partnership as the duo led the side to win the ECS season seven and cs_summit four.
But as the teams excelled to success ego plagued the side which ruined the chemistry and saw Vitality crashing out of the StarLadder Berlin Major. So the team has decided to bring some maturity to its roster by signing the former in-game leader of G2, Richard “Shox” Papillon, as a player.
The team has yet to lift a trophy with the French superstar but they are showing some improved results which will surely play a crucial role in Vitality’s ambition to secure a spot in the Spring finals. As previously mentioned, the team is in Group B alongside NAVI and Astralis. We believe that the only difficulty for the French team will against the Danes and they will see off the rest of their rivals in style.
Prediction:
Astralis is in Group B of the BLAST Premier series and will play alongside NAVI, Vitality, and Complexity. We have no hesitation in tipping them for the no.1 spot that they won’t have much difficulty in finishing at No.1 spot and be the overall winner of the BLAST Spring Premier Series. ]]>The post When is Overwatch 2 being released? appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>The developer promises to bring exciting new content on the day of its launch, including new characters, maps, and modes. The big distinction from the original title is that Overwatch 2 will have a new story mode, new maps (one of them being in Rio de Janeiro), and new skins of the original Overwatch characters.
SEE ALSO: BEST OVERWATCH BETTING SITES
In the game’s promotional trailer, Blizzard introduced a small roster of the heroes that will be in the game. Game director Jeff Kaplan confirmed that the 31 characters currently available in Overwatch will also be playable in the sequel, and the developer will continue to add more to the lineup.
Not at the moment. Overwatch 2 is still in the development process, and Blizzard did not announce any dates or timeline during BlizzCon. At the event, fans were able to test the Rio de Janeiro map and the new Avan?o mode, but it remains to be seen how much more content will be included in the end product. The official release statement and the trailer did not include a set date.
Overwatch 2 brings will include two PvE (Player versus Environment) modes: campaign and cooperative. For the first time, players will be able to enter missions and team up with friends to face enemies controlled by AI.
The PvP (Player versus Player) options include a new Push mode: a map in which the two teams dispute the possession of a robot, positioned at the center. The objective is to take it to the enemy base, and the team that goes the furthest in hostile territory wins. New maps in Overwatch 2 will include Toronto, Gothenburg, Monte Carlo, and Rio de Janeiro.
Those who already have the first Overwatch will have their progress and collectibles available in the sequel. In addition, there will be an integration system between players of the two games. Users of the first game who do not wish to purchase the sequel will be able to participate in multiplayer PvP with Overwatch 2 players. This way, old and new players can benefit from Blizzard’s new release.

OpTIc surely holds the talented names to finish the season in the top three. The side holds the three-time Call of Duty world champion, Brandon “Dashy” Otell and his teammate, Brandon “Dashy” Otell was absolutely phenomenal in 2019. In the upcoming season, they will team up with the 100 Thieves duo Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat and Kenny “Kenny” Williams. The last member of the team is former Evil Geniuses superstar, Jordan “JKap” Kaplan. On paper, the roster holds the elements of a remarkable team, but in their latest scrims, the side had its fair share of troubles. We believe that the team needs time to find the chemistry that will surely propel them to victory in 2020.
The Mutineers need to shine. The team has invested big in signing a player from the reigning champions, eUnited. All eyes will be on Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson to take charge of the roster and make things happen for Florida this season. Aside from signing the eUnited superstar, Mutineers have also picked up former Gen.G duo Chance “Maux” Moncivaez and Colt “Havok” McLendon. Both Havok and Maux performed brilliantly for their old team and will have to be consistent against the likes of Surge, Empire and the Huntsman. The team surely holds the recipe of success, but Prestinni needs to become a true leader and inspire his side to success in 2020.
We’re predicting the Subliners tp be amongst the most exciting teams in the new season. The team has managed to sign a majority of its members from FaZe. Since Dillon “Attach” Price, Trei “Zer0” Morris and Thomas “ZooMaa” Paparatto will be representing New York in 2020. The trio will play alongside Splyce’s Donovan “Temp” Laroda and Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi. The Subliners surely face a big test of formulating the winning chemistry in the team without egos getting involved. Attach is the youngest player to be crowned the world champion. Meanwhile, Temp made it to the All-Stars team of 2019. The duo will have to play around their strengths and weaknesses to propel the Subliners to victory.
Seattle Surge is one of the few teams to hold a five-man superstar roster for the 2020 season. Damon “Karma” Barlow was clinical in team OpTic’s success last season. Sam “Octane” Larew and Ian “Enable” Wyatt proved to be a dynamic duo for 100 Thieves as they were brutal in delivering aggression and explosiveness. Josiah “Slacked” Berry made phenomenal plays last season and team Luminosity to victory on multiple occasions. Lastly, Bryan “Apathy” Zhelyazkov has won two world championship titles. The side is all set to wreak havoc in the COD League.
The Guerrillas arrive in the 2020 season with a strong and determined roster that is bound to keep the fans on the edge of their seats. Their roster might hold any reigning champions but accommodates a two-time world champion Patrick “ACHES” Price. ACHES will the core element for the season and will surely inspire the team to get his hand on another title. The only big question mark of the team is Ulysses “AquA” Silva as he has been inconsistent for quite some time. But we believe that his form will improve under the guidance of ACHES.
The most fearful team in the league will surely be the Atlanta FaZe. The team holds two reigning champions with Chris “Simp” Lehr and Tyler “aBeZy” Pharri from eUnited. Joining the duo is McArthur “Cellium” Jove who established a solid reputation last season of being one of the most unpredictable players. Michael “MajorManiak” Szymaniak was amongst reliable players for Gen.G in 2019. And lastly, Preston “Priestahh” Greiner completes the team with his aggressive mindset. Atlanta will have eyes set on the trophy.
After signing some of the best players in the league, Dallas Empire is surely on its way to lift the trophy. The most exciting name on the team is James “Clayster” Eubanks who has been playing on the professional level for 10 years and was crowned the world champion last year. He has played the game brilliantly over the years and will surely replicate his success in 2020. The other big name on the team is Ian “Crimsix” Porter he was a dominant force for the OpTic roster in 2019 and will showcase his talents for Empire this season. His fallout with his former team members will surely motivate him to win it all this year.
From our perspective, the most dominant team of the COD League 2020 should be the Huntsman. The side not only holds an extraordinary roster but one of the best coaches as well. The big-name on the team is Seth “Scump” Abne who has over 10 years of experience. In his luxurious career, he has won a world championship, several MVP titles and is also al All-Star. He is alongside his T2P partner, Matthew “FormaL” Piper and the duo will only cause problems for the opposing teams. The reigning world champion, Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson will be aiming to win back to back titles. Dylan “Envoy” Hannon was a phenomenal player for Gen.G with consistent placements. And last addition is Pierce “Gunless” Hillman who has been one of the best players in the league for the past two years. These stars will be headed by coach Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez and it is highly unlikely that the team will meet its match in the season.

The rules of the Dota 2 WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020 will be the usual tournament rules and regulations. The matches will be held in LAN games with each team having five players. The teams are separated into two groups with 4 teams each and the winners of each group will be advancing to the Playoffs.
Many of the best esports betting sites have outright betting markets available on the Dota 2 Bukovel Minor. The latest odds for the Dota 2 Bukovel Minor winner are:
Nigma -125
Gambit Esports +400
Royal Never Give Up +600
Fighting Pandas +1000
Ninjas in Pajamas +1300
Team Spirit +2500
Geek Fam +2000
Furia +5000
A total of eight teams will be participating in the Dota 2 WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020. Among them are Gambit Esports, Team Spirit, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Royal Never Give Up, Geek Fam, Nigma, FURIA Esports, and Fighting Pandas. All of the mentioned teams will be split between groups A and B.
Group A will start with Ninjas in Pyjamas facing against Geek Fam while in the second Group A match, Team Spirit will be butting heads with the Royal Never Give Up team. The winners of both matches will face each other a day later while those who lose will be doing the same.
Group A tips and betting predictions: Group A looks significantly weaker than Group B, but we think there is still some good betting opportunities to be found. Royal Never Give Up is paying 2.10 to win the Group, but it’s the slightly longer Ninjas in Pajamas that we are predicting can win this group.
Group B matches will feature Fighting Pandas going up against team Nigma as well as Gambit Esports duking it out with FURIA Esports. The winners of both matches will be facing each other a day later while those who lose the first match will face against each other in the same manner as in Group A.
Group B predictions and betting tips: We reckon there is nothing surer then Group B producing the winner of this Dota 2 Minor, with both Nigma and Gambit eSports featuring. We’re predicting the Pool match between Nigma and Gambit will be a highlight, and could foretell the ultimate winner of the tournament. While the winner of the tournament to come from Group B is only paying $1.25, we think this is making bank and can be a great leg in multibets.
Dota 2 WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020 this year has a total prize pool of $300 000 and 660 DPC points which will be split between the eight participating teams. First-place winners will be given a prize of $72000, 140 DPC Points and an invite to the Majors.
